https://www.highlandtrichology.co.uk/ is a site operated by Highland Trichology (“we”, “us” and “our” shall be construed accordingly).  We are a sole proprieter based in Scotland, UK and have ur registered premises at 30 Chestnut Way, Inverness, IV2 6DD.

Our website www.highlandtrichology.co.uk (“our site”) is an information site solely as a source of information and facility for booking services. Our site does not replace a face-to-face consultation with a Trichologist, doctor or other qualified healthcare professional. If you desire or need such services or advice, or should any medical condition arise or exist, you should consult with a Trichologist, doctor or other qualified healthcare professional.

We may provide other goods and services from time to time. Full details will be provided on our site.

These terms of use (together with the documents referred to in it) (“Terms”) tells you the terms of use on which you may make use of our site. Use of our site includes accessing, browsing, or registering to use our site.

If any part of these Terms is declared invalid for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, this will not affect the validity of any remaining part of the Terms. Any such remaining part will remain in full force and effect as if the invalid part of the Terms had been eliminated.

Applicable law

If you are a consumer, please note that these Terms, its subject matter and its formation, are governed by Scottish law. You and we both agree to that the courts of Scotland will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of England or Wales you may also bring proceedings in England or Wales.

GDPR & PRIVACY POLICY

What data do we hold - We hold patient data including: Name; Date of Birth, Contact details (email, address, phone number) and Clinical Data (clinical treatments, consultation reports and blood test results).

Where we hold data - We hold patient details in paper form and Clinical data in electronic form secured on our private server.

How do we use your data - All data is held specifically for clinical appointments.

Where do we get data from - All data is provided directly from client themselves

Do we have consent - Yes

Who can access data - Client information can only be accessed by Highland Trichology on our secure private server and secure paper storage

Who we share your data with (if anyone) - Medical professional such as GP on request from client

MARKETING- we may at time to time send you information you may be interested in should you sign up for Subscription. You may opt out of this at any time. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes please contact Highland Trichology at info@highlandtrichology.co.uk

How long do we store your data - Seven years from last client communication, then data is deleted or destroyed

The client has the right to request a copy of any information held of them. This will normally be free or where large volumes of data are requested we may ask for an admin fee to cover incurred expenses. Please contact info@highlandtrichology.co.uk
