A Trichologist is a clinical expert in the diagnosis and treatment of hair and scalp concerns and the bridge between your hair professional to dermatology.
Highland Trichology is a certified Trichologist and a fully registered member of the Association of Registered Trichologists.
With regular CPD and memberships to professional bodies we uphold the professional and ethical standards soon mandatory in this field and provide valuable education and support to salons in the Highland area.

We work closely with oncology and dermatology to provide a host of services including NHS prescription wig fitting in a comfortable and relaxed setting.

As private phlebotomists we are able to carry out specific hair related blood tests and are the only Trichologist in the Scottish Highland qualified to read and interpret results.
HAIR TRANSPLANT HELP
We work with trusted hair transplant clinics across the central belt of Scotland to support their work using clinical examinations, diagnosis and ongoing Platelet-Rich Plasma injections post-surgery to help maintain your new hairto aid hair transplant success.
PRESCRIPTION SERVICE
We offer prescription medication services through our chemists and effectively beat the waiting time for many NHS Dermatology appointments and bridging the gap where every day matters.

What data do we hold - We hold patient data including: Name; Date of Birth, Contact details (email, address, phone number) and Clinical Data (clinical treatments, consultation reports and blood test results).
Where we hold data - We hold patient details in paper form and Clinical data in electronic form secured on our private server.
How do we use your data - All data is held specifically for clinical appointments.
Where do we get data from - All data is provided directly from client themselves
Do we have consent - Yes
Who can access data - Client information can only be accessed by Highland Trichology on our secure private server and secure paper storage
Who we share your data with (if anyone) - Medical professional such as GP on request from client
MARKETING- we may at time to time send you information you may be interested in should you sign up for Subscription. You may opt out of this at any time. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes please contact Highland Trichology at info@highlandtrichology.co.uk
How long do we store your data - Seven years from last client communication, then data is deleted or destroyed
